Sheela Prakash Fiorenzo is a Charlotte, North Carolina—based writer, editor, and recipe developer. She is currently the Assistant Food Editor for Kitchn, where she writes about home cooking, wine, and wellness, as well as develops and tests recipes geared toward the everyday cook. She's spent time at both Epicurious and Food52 and has written for publications such as Serious Eats and Fathom. Sheela received her master's degree from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy, graduated from New York University's Department of Nutrition and Food Studies, and is also a Registered Dietitian. She lived in New York City for 10 years before recently planting new roots in the South.
